The registry is a Windows directory where all the files related to every application installed in the computer is located. Every time you install a program, it would automatically encode an entry into the registry. The operating system will then tap on these entries whenever you launch the program or during system start up.
However, the registry is usually cluttered with unnecessary files orphaned by applications that no longer exist on the computer. What happened is that some of the applications you uninstall from your computer leave behind files. When we open the computer, the system tends to mistakenly tap on these orphan files which cause the computer to slow down.
