The performance of a personal computer or PC needs to be maintained at 100% or near 100% at all times to ensure that optimum performance of the PC is guaranteed, and the onus for maintaining that 100% rests only with the user and there is no reason to doubt the capability of the PC or the deficiency in manufacturing. The relative decline in performance and the need to speed up the pc is often a concern for the PC users. How to speed up my pc is a question frequently asked by the PC users. Here are a few tips and ideas to improve the performance of the PC.

The disk space in the PC might occupy some of the files that were lying in the recycle bin, even after the file has been deleted from the directories in the hard disk. One has to ensure that the recycle bin is emptied at frequent levels after ensuring that the files deleted from system and lying in the recycle bin are no longer required. Freeing up the space by clearing the recycle bin will help to some extent in speeding up the PC.

Another thing that can be done on a periodical basis, say at least once in a quarter, is to defragment the discs installed in the hard disk. The files and software existing in the PC lie in a scattered manner, and considerable amount of space is available between the two clusters of data in the hard disk. By resorting to defragment function for the hard discs, the files and the free space available in the hard disc are fragmented and compacted. In this way, the speed or the performance of the PC can be greatly enhanced.

By taking adequate care of the PC right from the date of purchase, and also ensuring that the quality of files and software in the system are free from virus or other types of malware or spyware, the speed of the PC can be maintained at 100% peak performance all along without any complaints whatsoever.

The fastest way to speed up a PC is to simply download a registry cleaner and run a scan. It will clear up errors and instantly speed up application loading and PC boot up times.
